Margie Caroline Zoch, the daughter of Carl & Erna (Eilers) Hinz, was born on October 21, 1928, on the family farm near Nelson, Nebraska. She passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma in the Integris Bass Hospital, at the age of 89 years. Margie was baptized on December 9, 1928 at Salem Lutheran Church by Pastor Charles Bunge. She was confirmed at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church on June 17, 1945 by Pastor Robert Leege. Her confirmation verse was 2 Corinthians 5:15. She attended country schools Star and Kelly. Margie worked at the Hebron Blue Valley Care Home and the Deshler broom factory. During her lifetime she lived in Nelson, Clay Center, Kansas, Deshler, Denver, Colorado and Enid, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert Zoch on March 9, 1989; 2 infant daughters; sister, Gertrude Brandt; brothers, Jim, Leroy, Raymond and Eldred Hinz; sisters-in-law, Judith, Evaline and Eileen. Margie will be forever remembered by her son, Harlan (Wilma) Zoch of Enid, Oklahoma; daughter, Brenda Hessman of Dodge City, Kansas; grandchildren: Austin Zoch of Kremlin, Oklahoma, Adam & Andrew Hessman of Dodge City, Kansas; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose (Larry) Plock of Deshler, Shirley Hinz of Lincoln, Nebraska, Darlene (Dick) Medina of Deshler; sister-in-law, Jureta Hinz of Hebron; brother-in-law, Donald Brandt of Nora, Nebraska; other relatives and friends.
