Bernadine Elizabeth Timmermans passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Blue Valley Nursing Home in Hebron, Nebraska. She was 89 years of age. Bernadine was born July 22, 1923 at Hebron, Nebraska the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth (Sohl) Wiedel. She was married to Bernard 'Buzz' J. Timmermans on April 17, 1950, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hebron. This union was blessed with 3 children; Elizabeth, James and Theresa. Bernadine and Bernard lived on their farm, south of Hebron until Bernard's death in 2010. Bernadine was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for her entire life. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard, her parents, and 1 sister, Loraine Schnegelberger. Those left to cherish her memory are her three children and their spouses; Elizabeth and Fred Kujath of Fairbury, NE, James and Robin Timmermans of Hebron and Theresa and Jim Allen of Superior, NE; 3 sisters, Jeannette Dutcher of Broomfield, CO, Kathleen Thompson of Stratton, CO and Genevieve Dvorak of Wheat Ridge, CO; 4 brothers, Herbert, Henry and Ernest Wiedel of Hebron and Ed Wiedel of Deshler; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
