Dale Edward Bohling was born to Emil and Herta (Schardt) Bohling on September 13, 1930. He was baptized on September 21, 1930, in Davenport, NE.  He passed away on April 8, 2022.  He was confirmed on July 9, 1944. Dale graduated from Davenport. He was drafted during the Korean War. When he was discharged, he came back to the area to farm.

On May 8, 1961, he married Darlene Egbarts. They had two sons, Alan and Neil. Dale farmed and drove truck his whole life. He also enjoyed bowling and a good pitch game. Dale participated in many bowling tournaments and did very well!

In July of 2020 Dale and Darlene moved into Meadowlark Heights and he later moved to Parkview Haven.

Dale is preceded in death by Darlene, his parents, and brothers Harlan and Lloyd.

He is survived by his sisters, Ardith and Shirley Werner; his sons Alan (Lynn) Bohling, Neil (Monica) Bohling; grandchildren, Sara Kresser, Jenny (Dustin) Simpson, Aaron (Kinsey) Bohling, Nicole (James) Dahl, Megan Bohling, Isaac Montes, Brianna Bohling; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Bohling, Brooks Kresser, Brynn and Kip Simpson and Blakely Bohling.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Deshler, on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Francik officiating. Interment at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Deshler. Memorials are to the family’s choice. Price Funeral Home of Hebron is assisting the family with arrangements. www.priceurbauerahrendts.com.
