. Dennis served in the United States Army, May 18, 1953 - April 30, 1956, during the Korean War. He also worked for the Rock Island Arsenal in

for 26 years retiring in 1988. Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Kathleen Selig of

and Ruth Disney of

; and brother, Jim and his wife, Elaine Cortney of Fairbury. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary and Ann Domling; brothers, Thomas, Bernard, John and Bill Cortney; sister-in-law, Joyce Cortney; and brothers-in-law, Larry Domling, Kenneth Selig, and Norman Disney.
