Donna Albrecht

Donna Arlene Albrecht, the daughter of Galen and Pearl (Snyder) Lambert, was born January 12, 1927 in Shickley, Nebraska. She passed from this life Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at St. ElizabethRegional Medical Center in Lincoln, NEat the age of 88 years.

Donna was united in marriage to Ray Albrecht on November 27 ^th , 1947, and from this union came four wonderful children; Karen, Kathryn, Scott, and Bradley.

Donna spent many of her days taking care of others whether it be in her early days as a school teacher, her days working in and then owning the café, or her days taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Don’t be fooled, though, Donna always made time for friends and fun. She knew how to live life to the fullest. Her spirit was unbridled, her passion unending.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ray; son Scott; and brothers Dwight and Gerald Lambert. She will be forever remembered and cherished by those who survive her: daughters, Karen Schleifer, Salt Lake City, Utah and Kathryn Urbauer, Plattsmouth, Nebraska; son, Bradley Albrecht and wife Rachel, Kingwood, Texas; grandchildren, Dawn Swanson and Sandra Miller, Lincoln, NE, Christopher and Yuka Schleifer, Wimberley, TX, Jayne Kreifels, Bellevue, NE, Jennifer and Tom Vanderbeek, Salt Lake City, UT, Charlotte Urbauer, Plattsmouth, NE, and Zachary and Noah Albrecht, Kingwood, TX; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Swanson, Andrew and Lee Kreifels, Isaac Vanderbeek, and Ellis Schleifer; other relatives and a community of friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22 ^nd , 2015, at 11:00 AM at Christ’s Lutheran Church, Davenport with the Reverend Stuart Sell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 1:00 – 7:00 PM at Urbauer-Price Funeral Home in Davenport, Nebraska. Burial will be in the Davenport City Cemetery. Memorials in care of the family will be designated at a later date.
