Evelyn Vernetta Yanacheak

Evelyn Vernetta Yanacheak was called Home on 12 September 2020. Evelyn was born 21 April 1943 in Hebron, NE. A long-time resident of Belvidere, she moved to Blue Valley Nursing Home in 2017. Evelyn loved God, her family, flowers, birds, sewing, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents Merle and Elverta Wolcott, brother Gordon Wolcott, and sons Allan and Greg Mitchell. Evelyn is survived by son Jeff Mitchell (Dawn), sisters Margaret Bittner and Barbara Sherrill, grandson Caleb Mitchell (Tiffany), niece Michelle Harris, four great-grandchildren and many friends. Graveside services are pending in Belvidere. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Evelyn’s name to Blue Valley Lutheran Nursing Home in Hebron.
