Frank Fred Schlichtman, 88, of Davenport, Nebraska passed away on June 30, 2026, at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron, Nebraska. Frank was born on the family farm near Edgar, Nebraska, on May 19, 1938, to Fred and Grace (Smith) Schlichtman. Frank attended school in Edgar and Davenport. He was united in marriage to Sharon Roe on May 21, 1955, in Mankato, Kansas. To this union of 68 years, three children were born, Larry, Thomas and Jami.

Frank and Sharon relocated to California for many years, before returning to Davenport.

Frank is preceded in death by his wife Sharon; son Larry; parents Fred and Grace; granddaughter-in-law Nicole Pavelka; great-grandson Ryker Schlichtman; and sister Betty Mae Brown.

He is survived by his son Thomas Schlictman of Davenport; daughter Jami Jackson of Little Chute, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law Patricia Schlictman; grandsons Dan Schlichtman, Thomas Schlichtman, Matt Schlichtman (Jessica), Frank Jackson, and Scott Jackson (Colleen Donahoe-Jackson); great-grandchildren Hayden, Laelynn, and Jase Schlichtman, Hannah, Sierra, Jacob, Frankie, and Lilly Jackson; his California family, Imogene (Brown) Lowe and her husband Robert, their daughter Rebecca Ochoa and her husband Miguel; Doreta (Brown) Scott and her husband John; Jeanette Brown, her son Nick Brown and his wife Vanessa; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Services for Frank and Sharon will be held at a later date, to be announced.
