Gene Marlow Ells

Gene Marlow Ells, 83, of Hebron, died peacefully at home on April 15th, 2022.

Gene was born in Hebron to Alleta & Edward Ells on November 12th, 1938. He married Jan on April 1st, 1988 in Hebron.  He worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads for many years until he retired in 2004.

Gene loved fishing, coffee with friends every morning, working outside, and spending time with his wife and family.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, and brothers Bill and Keith.

He is survived by his wife Jan Ells, four children, Randy Huggard & wife Judy, Tony Huggard & wife Jennifer, Wendy Gray and significant other Brad Filipi, Charlie Votipka; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Gene will be greatly missed by all.
