Glennis L. Abelbeck

Glennis Lee Abelbeck age 90 of Hebron, Nebraska, daughter of Martin and Hannah (Doering) Schleifer, was born October 27, 1926in rural Deshler, Nebraska. She passed from this life Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron. She was united in marriage to Lloyd "Red" Abelbeck on July 24, 1949 at Peace Lutheran Church in Deshler. To this union two children were born. For nearly 50 years, Glennis was a beautician in the community. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Hebron. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Red in 1992; her parents Martin & Hannah Schleifer. Left to cherish her memory is her brother Reuben Schleifer, Chester, Nebraska; sons , Bruce and wife Jayne of Orange Park, Florida and Rick and wife Beth of Forestport, New York; grandchildren Matthew, Martin, Isabella, Alan, Zac, and one great-grandson Tyler; other relatives and a host of friends.
