Helen "Allyne" Miller Peterson of Middleton, Idaho went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. Allyne was born on January 27, 1924 in Barnes, KS to Earle and Augusta "Gussie" Marlar, the second of four children. Allyne grew up on a farm and loved the country life. She married Earl "Dean" Miller on May 23, 1942. To this union, four children were born. Dean was a farmer, so Allyne was in her element. During their married life, they lived in Oregon, Idaho, and Nebraska. Although she raised her family in Nebraska, she always felt that Idaho was her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Miller in 1990, her second husband, Clarence, her parents, and all of her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Roger "Pete" Peterson, of Middleton, ID, her son, Rod (Jean) Miller of Dundas, MN, daughters Vicki (Rich) Ducharme of Omaha, NE, Debbie (Doug) Lange of Malcolm, NE, Tes (Jon) Cline of Spring Hill, FL, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a nephew, numerous nieces, and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Price Funeral Home, Hebron, NE at 1:00 PM. Family inurnment will take place at a later date.
