Jackie Sadie Marie Doggett

Jackie Sadie Marie Doggett passed away at Jefferson Community Health Center in Fairbury, Nebraska on October 14, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

Jackie, who always had her hair permed and colored and her nails long and polished, had an avid love for all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She spoke her mind and had no filter.  She worked as a Bath Aide at Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron until her retirement and always put others’ needs in front of her own.

Jackie loved eagles, and was obsessed with Elvis Presley going so far as to have a life-sized cardboard cutout.  She was also a huge fan of Tweety Bird, with yellow being her favorite color.  Holidays for Jackie included garden flags for every holiday and every Christmas all of the grandchildren got a pack of holiday lifesavers with a five-dollar bill in it.  During these holiday times and other occasions, she made apple bars and the best potato salad.   Jackie loved Country Music, TV game shows, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, was an avid Bingo player and always had tubs of quarters in her computer room for the trips to the casino.

Jackie is preceded in death by her late husband Dale Doggett, her mother and father John Demesal Daniels and Velma Bell Daniels (McGinnis), siblings Jim, David, Raymond, Walt, Orval, Frankie, and Joann.

Jackie is survived by her ex-husband Leslie Soltesz; sister Brenda and husband Albert; sisters-in-law Donna, Ramona, Helen, and Joyce; her children and their families, Dean Soltesz and his wife Jackie and their children Bryan Banta including his children Aiden and Bryliene, Dean Soltesz Jr., and his wife Nichole and their children Dean III, Zander, Desiree Bures and her husband Keifer and their daughter Autumn, John Soltesz and his fiancé Mila and their daughter Winnrey, Tamantha Kinnan and her husband William and their children Amanda, Cameron and Candace,  her daughter DeAnn Zoubek and significant other Alan Harder with their children Amber Nelson and her children Kayden and Skylar, Tristin Zoubek and significant other Tasha with their children Nikki, Averi and Unborn Delilah, Breana Zoubek, and Cheyanna Jacobe and her husband Chandler with their children Izabella, Scarlette and Silas, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members.

A Rosary will be held at Price Funeral Home in Hebron, Nebraska on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 6:00 P.M., with greetings from the family to follow. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 1:00 P.M., with graveside burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, North of Hebron, Nebraska.   Price Funeral Home of Hebron is assisting the family with arrangements.  www.priceurbauerahrendts.com
