James "Jimmy" Heinrichs was born on August 19 th , 1953, in Deshler, Nebraska to Dorothy and Arnold Heinrichs. He was one of three children born to his parents. Jimmy passed away on September 2 nd , 2015, at the Golden Living Center in Tekamah, Nebraska, at the age of 62 years and 14 days.
Jimmy grew up on a farm near Carleton. He attended school in Deshler, graduating with the class of 1971. He was active in several school activities. He was the high school district 98 lb. wrestling champion and state champion runner-up in 1971. After high school Jimmy took over the family farm, feeding cattle and raising corn and alfalfa. In the off season he drove trucks.
In 1988 he moved to Blair, Nebraska, where he drove over the road truck for UPS until he retired.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Arnold and Dorothy. He is survived by his 2 sisters: Sherri and husband Randy Bohling of Mountain Home, Idaho and Pam; 2 nephews: Michael and wife Terry Bohling of Mountain Home, Idaho and Andrew and wife Dianne Bohling of Meridian, Idaho; 2 nieces: Amy Krogman of Hickman, Nebraska and Amber and husband Tim Bourland of Crestview, Florida; also several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and inurnment will be held at the Carleton City Cemetery on Saturday, September, 19th at 1:00 PM.
Urbauer-Price-Ahrendts Funeral Homes of Davenport, Hebron, and Deshler was in charge of these arrangements.
