Jarvis Cedric Fayle, son of Edward Donald and Beulah (Whitmore) Fayle was born April 4, 1947 at Deshler, Nebraska the youngest of three children. He passed from this life Thursday, June 7, 2012 at his home in Ruskin, Nebraska. He was 65 years of age. In 1961 Jarvis started working road construction for Nichols Construction Company in Geneva. Later he worked for Webb Construction. Jarvis spent most of his career building bridges on road construction projects. Before his health forced his retirement recently, he was a bridge foreman.

Jarvis was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter Sherri Lynn and wife Lucille Runyan. Survivors include sons: Jarvis (LuRae) Fayle, Jr., St. Edward, Nebraska and Tim (Lori) Fayle, Hastings, Nebraska; sister Cheryl (Fayle) Barnholdt; brother Robert Fayle, Oak, Nebraska; several nieces and nephews.
