Jeanette was born on April 9th, 1939. She was the first of six children born to John and Gertrude Jahnke at Bancroft, Nebraska. She is survived by 3 sons: Terry, Donald (Kathy) and Alan, 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and by brothers Lynn and Collin Jahnke & sister Cheryl Pinkley.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Donald Miller and second husband Ken Hobelman, her sister Arna Farabee and brother Kevin Jahnke, and great granddaughter Henleigh Yoachim.

Jeanette loved being a grandmother and was so proud of great grands. Her life was filled with music and sporting events, NU ladies volleyball & her own bowling accomplishments. She ended her working career at True Value in Hebron, loving every day.

Memorials have been established to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Southern Cross Church in Hebron, NE.  Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hebron.  A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Price Funeral Home in Hebron.
