Jeanette Ann Krenke was born to Mildred (Meyer) and Erwin Hoops at Deshler, Nebraska on June 23, 1938, beginning her life on the family farm, rural Hardy, Nebraska. She was baptized shortly after birth at St. Peters Lutheran Church, rural Byron, Nebraska. She attended two rural schools, one in Nuckolls County, Nebraska and one in Republic County, Kansas, when the family moved near the community of Byron, Nebraska. When the family moved to Deshler, Nebraska she attended parochial and public schools and graduated from Deshler High School in 1956. Jeanette was confirmed April 6, 1952 at Peace Lutheran Church in Deshler by Pastor R.H. Riensche. In June of 1956 she married Wayne H. Krenke of Hebron, Nebraska. They lived in Fairbury, Nebraska briefly. Wayne spent two years in the U.S. Army and she traveled with him to Texas and then they were stationed in Frankfort, Germany. While in Germany son Brad was born and after returning to the States Todd was born in Hebron. Jeanette worked with Wayne on the farm and raised their two sons. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church of Byron. She was involved with many church and community activities. She was a 4-H leader for 30 years. Jeanette loved music and was involved with it all of her life. She also loved traveling. Most of all, Jeanette loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was able to live with Wayne on the farm until 2019 moving to Parkview Haven in Deshler due to her failing health. She passed from this life Sunday, January 5th, 2020 at the age of 81 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; sister-in-law Mary Krenke and brothers-in-law Ralph Krenke and Tom Struve. Jeanette will be forever remembered by her husband Wayne of their home, rural Hardy, Nebraska; sons Brad and wife Crystal, Hebron, Nebraska and Todd and wife Jeanne, Bartlesville, Oklahoma;grandchildren, Jessica (Krenke) Lara and husband Andrew, Jared Krenke, Nicholas Bouray and wife Jessica, Miranda (Krenke) Mills and husband Keith, step grandchildren, Sabrina (Gann) Myland and husband Shane, and William Gann and wife LeAnn;great-grandchildren, Lourdes Lara, Aubrey, Caitlyn, Hadley and Davis Bouray, Alexyia Sullivan and Slade Mills, step great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Landon and Linlee Gann, Kira and Dillon Marshall; sister, Carrol Struve and husband Herb Cook,brother-in-law Lavern (Lorene) Krenke, Kearney, NE; other relatives and many friends.
