Obituary of Josephine A. Hosack



Josephine A. Hosack, the daughter of Jacob Bodus and Blanche Kowalski, was born March 19, 1921 in Cedar, MI. She passed from this life on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Heritage Care Center in Fairbury, NE at the age of 92 years. Josephine grew up in Michigan and graduated from Cedar High School in 1939.



Josephine enjoyed sewing, her household plants and the state lakes concession stand. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church Altar Society in Alexandria.



Those that preceded her in death are her parents; her husband, Daryl; and 10 siblings.



Those left to cherish her memory are her son's and their wives, Hugh and Jackie Hosack of Blanchard, OK, Daniel and Alberta Hosack of Yarnell, AZ, and Michael and LoVonne Hosack of Omaha, NE; 3 sisters, Margaret, Bell, and Terisa; 3 brothers, Ted, Anthony, and Leonard; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.



Services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, August 27, 2013 at 6:00 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM. Interment will be in Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, NE on Wednesday August 28, 2013. Memorials are suggested to the Altar Society of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria.
