Joyce F Langdale

Joyce Fay Langdale, daughter of Oscar and Laura (Jackson) Langdale, was born in Beatrice, Nebraska on January 27, 1931. She passed from this life July 17, 2018 at the Blue Valley Lutheran Care Home in Hebron, Nebraska. She was 87 years of age. Joyce was admitted to Beatrice State Developmental on June 4, 1937 at the age of 6. Prior to this she had lived at home with her family. Joyce participated in various training programs at BSDC. On March 4, 2009 at the age of 78, she became a resident of the Blue Valley Lutheran Homes. She especially liked Elvis music and movies. She had many friends at BVLH. Joyce is survived by her sister Maxine Young, Wheat Ridge, Colorado; her brother Jack Langdale, Piedmont, South Carolina and several cousins. A graveside and inurnment service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery, Beatrice, Nebraska.
