Kathy Sue Lentz

Kathy Sue (McGinley) Lentz was born on October 20, 1954 in Quincy, Illinois to Joseph A. McGinley and Helen M. (Gilmore) McGinley Rhodes. She departed this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 63 years and 19 days. Kathy enjoyed life and lived every day to the fullest. She enjoyed going to bingo with her sister-in-law, playing games on the computer, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. Kathy’s brothers and sisters as well as her nieces and nephews meant the world to her. Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Joseph McGinley, mother, Helen Rhodes, step father, Billie Rhodes, brother-in-law, Carl McMullen, brother, Michael "Sarge" McGinley and nephew Michael "Tony" McMullen. She is survived by her sister, Maryann McMullen of Eskridge, Kansas; brothers, Danny "Butch" McGinley and wife Brenda and Timothy McGinley, all of Chester, Nebraska, step sister, Wanda Rhodes of Fairbury, Nebraska and sisters-in-law, Jean McGinley of Topeka, Kansas and Masel McGinley of Harker Heights, Texas. Her nieces, Melissa McKenna, Michelle Zerbe and Crystal McMullen all of Eskridge, Kansas, Heather Holzhauser of Olathe, Kansas, Kim Manning of Temple, Texas, Jessica McGinley of Omaha, Nebraska and Brandy Rhodes of Beatrice, Nebraska. Her nephews, Chris McGinley of Topeka, Kansas and Ryan McGinley of Harveyville, Kansas, as well as many other family members and friends.
