Larry Arnold Muhlenbruch, long-time resident of Deshler, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 68.

Born on July 29, 1957, in Des Moines, Iowa, Larry was the son of the late Lawrence and Elvera (Toomsen) Muhlenbruch of Trumbull, Nebraska.

Larry enjoyed playing basketball and football in his youth and graduated from Trumbull High School in Trumbull, Nebraska, in 1976. In later years, he could be spotted driving in demolition derbies or enduro racing if he wasn’t golfing, fishing at the lake, or playing softball and cards. Larry had a long and dedicated career hauling long-distance cargo, fertilizer, and fuel and could often be found working on his truck.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jamie, and sister Laurie.

Larry is survived by his partner Janet Robertson, sisters Theresa and Cheryl Muhlenbruch, daughters Teresa Denton (spouse Mark) and Jennifer Nolan (spouse Kevin), and six grandkids: Tre and Paige Nolan; and Zachary, Marley, Hailey, and Makayla Denton.

Funeral Services for Larry will be Monday, March 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Deshler, Nebraska, with Pastor Brian Francik officiating. Burial will be at the Deshler City Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Price Funeral Home in Hebron, Nebraska.
