LeRoy C. O'Neal, of Hebron, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Parkview Haven Nursing Home at the age of 67. LeRoy was born May 17, 1944, the son of Louis and Louella O'Neal. He graduated from Thayer Central High School. LeRoy was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He spent 14 years with the Union Pacific Railroad and spent his final years driving trucks.

LeRoy was preceded in death by a son; Larry C. O'Neal on January 16, 1994, his parents, and two brothers; Harold and Bob O'Neal, both of Hebron.

LeRoy is survived by his wife; Lonita O'Neal of the home, daughter; Christine McMahon of Hebron, two granddaughters; Katie McMahon of Hebron and Amanda Natho with two great granddaughters; Macie and Presley, all of Grants Pass, Oregon. The family would like to thank LeRoy's best friend and "adopted" son Thomas "Maynard" Charles for his faith and dedication during his last days.
