Listen to Obituary

Lisa Louanne Horn, 52 of Alexandria, was born to Richard and Betty (Taylor) Dailey on February 1st, 1968 in Omaha, Nebraska. She went home to Jesus on May 21st of 2020.

Lisa attended South High School. She met the love of her life, Leonard at just 14 years of age and they were married on November 4th, 1986. The two went on to have 3 children, Jerica, Ronnie and Kortnie. They were married for 33 years.

Lisa proudly worked as a support aid for those mentally and physically disabled at Lutheran Homes. She had a big heart and always cared deeply for every soul she met. Her hobbies consisted of singing (more than anything), playing dice and backgammon, and spending time with her family and friends, having a good time, sharing the gospel, loving on those around her, telling life stories and doodling.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Betty Dailey. She will forever be remembered by her husband of 33 years, Leonard Horn, her three children: Jerica Thomas, Ronnie Horn, and Kortnie Horn; her two sons-in-law, Derick Thomas and Cody Russell; her grandchildren, Elijah and Elena Horn, Derick Jr. and Max Thomas; her sister, Tracy Rawson; and her nieces and nephews Brandon, Dustin, Cody and Becky Rawson and all their children. She loved and touched deeply all her family, along with many friends.

Her celebration of life will be on Tuesday June 16th at 4 PM at Citylight Church, located at 2109 Railroad Hwy, Council Bluffs, IA 51503.
