Her homemade pies were well liked by more than just her family. Marian and Kenneth took many trips and vacations following retirement from the farm including their fishing trips to Minnesota and numerous bus tour trips. Many winters were also spent at their daughter’s home in San Diego, CA.Marian was an active member of Christ’s Lutheran Church, where she taught Sundayschool and belonged to WELCA.
