Marilyn A. Duffek

Marilyn Ann Duffek was born on August 16, 1938, in Loma, Nebraska, the daughter of Edward and Roslyn (Pelan) Lavicky. She passed away on January 15, 2026, at Parkview Haven in Deshler, Nebraska, at the age of 87.

She was a homemaker, and also worked as a waitress.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond Duffek, her brothers Alvoid and Marvin Lavicky, and her sister Beverly Straka.

She is survived by her children; son Al Pernicek of Lincoln, and daughter Ramona Mitchell (William) of Pawnee City, grandchildren Nathaniel, Corren, Nicole, Rebecca, and Amber, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Price Funeral Home in Hebron, Nebraska.
