Michael R. Hosack

Michael Ray Hosack, 57, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Alexandria, NE passed away on August 28, 2014, at the Golden Living Center-Sorensen in Omaha, NE. He was born in Fairbury, NE on July 30, 1957, the son of Daryl and Josephine (Bodus) Hosack.

Michael was active in the Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years. He worked as a mechanic in Alexandria and later as a farm hand for several operations in the area.

Michael is survived by his wife LaVonne (Kleine) Hosack; children, Michael Hosack Jr. of Lincoln, NE and Kristeen Hosack and her significant other Chad Dickson of Alexandria, NE; brothers, Hugh (Jacqeline) Hosack of Blanchard, OK and Dan (Alberta) Hosack of Yarnell, AZ; and grandchildren, Roxie L. Dickson, Kaedyn Hosack, and Gavin Hosack.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of life service at the Meridian Cemetery near Alexandria, NE at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2014.
