Richard J. Swenty

Richard Joseph Swenty, the son of Joseph and Ruth (Jones) Swenty was born on November 17, 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 8 days, in the comfort of his own home unexpectedly.

He served his country in the US Army, during the Vietnam War, from January 10, 1966 – November 27, 1967.

Richard loved his hunting dogs and pheasant hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Nona, children, Stacy (Wren) Ladd of Buffalo, MN, Kelsey Ritchey of Belleville, KS, Jeremiah Ritchey of Salina, KS, David (Tracy) Lee of Bruning, NE, Eddie Lee of Geneva, NE and Christy Garner of Wichita, KS, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters, Ines (Lloyd) Logan of Clear Lake, WI and Diane (Ron) Weigel of New Braunfels, TX, many other relatives and friends.

Direct cremation was chosen and there will be no service at this time.
