Ronda Juleen Frye

Ronda Juleen Frye, the daughter of Lloyd and Juleen (Hicken) Farnstrom was born on July 22, 1949 in Gothenburg, Nebraska.  She departed this life on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln, NE.

Ronda’s early life was in Gothenburg, NE.  She attended school from K-10 in Gothenburg.  In 1965 Ronda and her parents moved to Hebron, NE.  Ronda graduated from Hebron High School in 1967.

She attended Josephs College of Beauty in Lincoln, NE, graduating in 1968.  She was united in marriage to Randy Hergott in November of 1968.  This union was blessed with 3 sons; James, Christopher, and Colby Hergott.  Later in life Ronda was united in marriage to Chris Frye in Byron, NE.

Ronda worked for many years at The Hair Shop in Hebron where she made many lifelong friends.  She enjoyed playing bridge, golf, gardening and cooking.  Most of all she loved her children and her grandchildren.  Ronda enjoyed attending and watching the many activities her grandchildren were involved in.  She was always so proud of them and their accomplishments.

Ronda is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Juleen.  She is survived by her husband Chris of Hebron, son James and wife Tori of Hebron, son Christopher and wife Staci of rural Hebron, and son Colby and wife Robbin of Bruning.  Grandchildren are Brooklyn Peppard and husband Logan of Geneva, Keith Hergott, Takaylynn Hergott, Cassandra Hergott, Tegon Hergott, Brighton Hergott all of Hebron, and Alexis Hergott of Bruning.  Sisters Kathy (Lester) Reinke, Susan (Dave) Sell and brother Dave (Janelle) Farnstrom of Hebron; and her beloved Archie.

The family wishes Memorials be designated to Thayer County Health Services Foundation, Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Foundation and Grace Lutheran Church of Hebron.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron, with Pastor Keith Brozek officiating.  Price Funeral Home of Hebron is assisting the family with arrangements.
