Ronn Sterling Pearson

Ronn Sterling Pearson, born November 11, 1957 to Arvid & Marilyn (Berkey) Pearson. Ronn suddenly left this life June 17, 2024.

He was a lifetime resident of Davenport, Nebraska. Ronn attended Davenport Community school, graduating from DHS with the class of 1976. He was also a lifetime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport.

Ronn loved farming, his cattle, horseback riding, all sports, especially football and backyard fire pits with the neighbors and friends. Locally he was known for his welding skills, creating bar stools & tables, always incorporating horseshoes in his creations.

On September 2, 1989 Ronn and Carol were married. Together they raised their three children, Justin, Desiree and Ethan. He always said “I raise corn, cattle and kids.”

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carol, children Justin Trapp, Desiree Swafford and Ethan (Jill) Pearson. Grandchildren Breya Trapp, Rylan Trapp and Kanon Pearson. Siblings Jean (Rodney) Miller, Randy (Pam) Pearson, Jill (Wayne) Biltoft and Judy (Steve) Reinke, Mother-in-law Dorothy Boss, and many more in-laws, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ’s Lutheran Church in Davenport.  Burial will be at the Davenport City Cemetery.
