Sena A. Lowery

Sena Arleta Lowery, daughter of Mark and Cindy (Vorderstrasse) Mesloh, was born April 10, 1988 in Hebron, Nebraska. Sena grew up in the Deshler community attending the public schools and graduating from Deshler High School with the Class of 2006. She continued her education at Wayne State graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family and Consumer Science where she was a member of Theta Phi Alpha Sorority. She was employed at Reinke Manufacturing assisting in Document Control. She was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron on May 1st 1988. Sena became a member of Peace Lutheran Church, in Deshler where she was confirmed on October 27th 2002. On September 16, 2017 Sena and Kevin Lowery were united in marriage at Peace Lutheran Church, and made their home in Ruskin, Nebraska. Sena enjoyed many activities and caring for her Fur babies, dogs Bear and Gracie and cat Charlie. Her greatest enjoyment was cooking and watching the Food Network (especially The Pioneer Woman). She spent her spare time in her "she shed" making various crafts and those items she could decorate with in their home. She enjoyed shopping especially at flea markets and thrift stores where she was always looking for "that deal". On Monday morning, October 14, 2019 at the tender age of 31 years surrounded by her loving husband and family, Sena slipped in to eternity. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Clarence Vorderstrasse, Arleta Mesloh, and Lavern Mesloh; father-in-law Stan Lowery; cousin MaKayla Koss. Sena will be forever remembered by her husband Kevin Lowery; mother Cindy Mesloh, Hebron, NE; father Mark Mesloh and wife Brenda, Lincoln, NE; mother-in-law Rae Jeanne Lowery, Hebron, NE; grandmother Verleen Vorderstrasse, Chester, NE; sisters Kiley Mesloh, Anna & Brian Schilke and Emma Mesloh, Lincoln, NE; brother Aaron & Amanda Mesloh, Omaha, NE; sister-in-law Christine Lowery, San Diego, CA; four nieces, four nephews, one great niece, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Friday with family present 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Ahrendts Funeral Home, Deshler. Funeral Services for Sena will be on Saturday, Oct. 19th, 2019, at 2:00 PM atPeace Lutheran Church, Deshler.
