Vera Jean (Koerwitz) Siebenneicher of Deshler, Nebraska, daughter of Walter & Augusta (Nunenkamp) Koerwitz, was born on March 16, 1931, in Deshler at Dr. Reed’s Hospital. She departed this life on October 7, 2015, at Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler, at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 21 days. She was baptized at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Deshler, NE on March 21, 1931. She was confirmed on March 25, 1945 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Vera attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School in Deshler, Nebraska. Vera and their family moved to Atco, New Jersey from 1943-1944. Vera became employed at the Deshler Broom Factory at the age of 15. She then worked at Kellwood’s in Fairbury until they closed and then worked in the laundry at Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler. Vera married Eugene Siebenneicher on May 29, 1948 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Deshler, NE. This marriage was blessed with five children. Vera enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She attended activities of her grandchildren as she was able. Vera enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers up until the time she moved to Parkview Haven. Vera enjoyed the outdoors, camping at the lake and many family vacations to South Dakota. Vera and family enjoyed many special gatherings. Vera is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Siebenneicher, parents, Walter and Augusta (Nunenkamp) Koerwitz, infant son, sister Eileen VanWinkle, brother Ordale Kriemeyer, and grandson, Brent Drohman. Vera will be forever remembered by her son, Larry and wife Kristine of Deshler; three daughters: Connie Drohman and husband Stephen, Bonnie Thompson and husband Stanley of Deshler; Sheryl Fuller and husband Dennis of Hardy, NE; 8 grandchildren, Jeff Drohman and Kim of Hebron, NE, Amy Ludwig and husband Matthew of Adams, NE, Tiffany Nutsch, Shawna Peterson and husband Cody, Bay Robinson and wife Avionna all of Deshler, NE, Amber Callaway and husband James of Broken Bow, NE, Brandon Siebenneicher and wife Ashley of Superior, NE, Jordan Drohman of Davenport, NE, 18 great-grandchildren; Clay, and Sean Jones, KyLee Nutsch, Taitum, Trinity, and Taneal Robinson, Makinna, Jacilyne, and Braxton Peterson of Deshler, Avery, Kaelyn and Savannah Drohman of Hebron, Logan, Morgan, Madison and Camron Callaway of Broken Bow, Braylin Siebenneicher of Superior, Addilyn and Colt Drohman of Davenport; sister Fern Pool, Hebron; nieces, nephews, Parkview Haven Staff and a host of friends.
