Wilma F Dominy

Wilma Faye Dominy was born May 24, 1939 in Burr Oak, Kansas, to Joseph and Wilma (Gutscher) Boitnott. She was one of five children born to her parents. She passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler at the age of 79 years. Wilma was baptized at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Deshler. She attended school in Jewel County, KS and Deshler, NE, and was a Deshler High School graduate. She was united in marriage to Richard Dominy on April 6, 1956, at the Lutheran Church in Geneva. This union was blessed with three sons: Monte, Craig, and Michael. Wilma enjoyed raising her boys and participated in all of their activities. She loved being outdoors and supported their love of fishing and hunting, often driving them to find a pheasant. As the boys grew older, Wilma went to work for Whitney Insurance and Red's Tire. She and Dick later purchased Superior Cleaners, which she ran for many years. In 1994 Dick and Wilma moved to Hebron, NE. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Superior Eagles. She was always an ardent fan of the Huskers and loved to watch football. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Richard. She is survived by her sons, Monte (Karin) Dominy of Hebron; Craig of North Platte; and Michael (Kathy) of rural Greenwood. Grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Dominy of Seward; Neil (Renee) Dominy of Hickman; and Jacob Dominy of Tacoma, WA.; step granddaughter Cara Krause of Omaha; great-grandchildren, Madison, Kennedy, Lydia, Karissa, and Dedric Dominy, and Riley, Gavin, and Nolan Lenn; sister, Donna Hansen of Hebron; brothers, Donald (Carol) Boitnott of Rantoul, IL, Larry (Carol) Boitnott of Lincoln, and John (Betty) Boitnott of Hebron; sister-in-law Doris (John) Nun of Omaha; and many nieces and nephews.
